Yea, took me a few turns to realize they couldn't even move... Right now it seems like I can't get past the turn a scout is being built, and its doing it reliable. Coincidentally, that is exactly the turn it will autosave as well.

Its more fun to know whats different from version to version.
it will emphasize all of the work youve done to improve it.
and it helps keeping track on the mod both for you and the players.
We discarded this idea some time ago as unrealistic within the B5 universe. An EA Artemis doesn't go in for an upgrade and come out looking like an EA Olympus. What we want to do is make a Promotion for the 1st Tier ships that effectively improves the ship so it can stand alongside a 2nd Tier ship in combat and the only difference would be it's appearance. One of many things/ideas on the to do list.Also, don't you want to make ships upgradeable? Alpha-Beta-Omega upgrade chain would be nice. At least for gameplay.
It's not a mistake, it's deliberate and it's all to do with the class of the ship. An Alpha cruiser can take on a Beta Frigate and destroy it but a Beta cruiser only just outclasses an Alpha Battleship. The ships still need to be better spread out on the tech tree and it's yet another job that needs doing but i do little bits of it here and there as i spot something that needs to be done.I also noticed that right now the alpha ships are stronger then their beta counterparts in a few cases (for example minbari capitol ships). I guess this is a mistake
The PDS and ODS should not be getting the additional movement points at all but in order to get the AI to build them i had to change its domain from IMMOBILE to LAND. I am trying to get something working that will keep the units within their own borders but that has been giving me problems, hopefully i'll have it in the next update.I've noticed one thing... When ships get extra move through tech, the PDS and ODS apparently get the ability to move, but not attack.

The unit lost it's ability to load onto the transport when i changed it's domain, if i change the domain that the transport can carry from immobile to land then it will be able to carry all of the ships and i don't think a Transport carrying 4 battleships would be much fun. So, i'll get fixed what i can fix.Glad to hear its being worked on. What is that ship by the way? Only thing I can really figure out is somehow load the ODS/PDS into it, but don't think I noticed how...
There are no differences between them and i suspect that it appears twice because of the fast construction ship. As it's not a game breaking item i'm not too worried about it at the moment, but from a purely cosmetic point of view it would need to be cleared up at some point.Nice. Any chance the double construction ship thing in the queue will be getting fixed? Or are there actual differences I just haven't seen?

Sorry about not responding sooner. The most important thing for me to do was to get a stable mod that didn't crash after 70 or 80 turns, so balancing the unit strengths has been low down on the list. I hadn't noticed the Quantum singularity giving a promotion to all but the ships so i'll look into that over the weekend. I don't believe the Valen was an ISA ship, as far as i was aware the only true ISA ships were the Excalibur/Victory were the first 2 cruisers to be built by the ISA, the Whitestars were all built by the Minbari before the Shadow War. As the Mod is now a lot more stable i can start to address the issues you have raised here.Been a while since I played the first version. Downloaded it again and played till I almost finished the tech tree. After finishing AI-tech it always crashes at the end of the turn..
O.D.P are sort of useless even with all promotions. Beta-destroyers or the first cruisers with 4 combat promotions have a very good chance of winning.
Most of the promotions give interception chance or withdrawal chance. Easily reaching 100% before having all the promotions.
Researching quantum singualarity gives the the promotion to al fighters, misiles and starbases, but not to ships. Intentional?
Shouldn't the mimbari valen be an ISA ship?
The sharlin and Velarian are almost identical in strenght. The Velarian is weaker but requires more techs to research.
