A BIG BlackTerrain-Topic?

Hi

I have a Radeon7500 and tried EVERY idea I could find here twice,
no happy end so far

But gotta new problem - There are heaps of topics dealing with this
problem and I spent a lot of time checking them all out for a solution,
so, wouldn't a special topic to post about this problem be good?

tried it out, map is revealed and visible, but there is still fog of war
everywhere, my units have no sight and all sea is black. u didn't had
these problems?

D:\Civ4\Assets\XML\Technologies
Right-click, Edit (in notepad.exe, if it asks), and do Replace All. Find:
<bMapVisible>0</bMapVisible> and replace all with:
<bMapVisible>1</bMapVisible>

you can also switch it on/off ingame by opening the worldbuilder
and giving your civ sattelites
