As I was playing CivilizationII today, I found a weird thing in the game. When you try to name a city with a name containing the ampersand (&), the next letter to it gets underlined. So, if you want to name a city A&B, you'll see a name AB. I guess this is coming from the programming of the game, because in some cases when programming window menus, & denotes underlining (like File, Edit, etc). Has anyone noticed this before? Anymore bugs (features) out there?

I've never noticed, but I don't think I've ever done that either.

So...if you put an ampersand before every letter, could you underline the whole name? That would be good to point out important cities noticable at a glance...
and you can use the + symbol instead for A+B, no?

I would bet Smash got that name by naming his city "A&&W" (no quote marks). Am I right?

..we don't have that underline thing

Well, here is the proof of it works in my windows version of civ2 mge:
when you write &mox in a city name you get , when you name it &&mox, you get

I bet I know how smash did it, he put a space in between the ampersand and the next letter. thats hwy I never knoticed the underline thing myself, since I liek to use spaces ~Q
