to all you out there planning your marathon civ sessions (and I'm not just talking about the Greek city), do take care:

A cautionary tale...

I'm going to have to wait and have two weeks of you guys lauding it on this forum as my fix in the meantime. Two weeks of Civ. I'll never catch up!

I knew about this. However, I agree with Willowmound, if you're feeling terrible and keep playing, then that's your problem. I'd never put any game above my own life.

Haha! ...Which gets me wondering: What is everyone's longest Civ session ever? I'm sure I have played Civ for 18 hours straight at times, but don't think I've ever gone over that.

He was clearly not adept anough to handle such a lnog term gaming session, but look on teh bright side, The gamer breed is 1 step closer to purebred perfection

Did you get up to go to the bathroom?

The longest civ session? Dunno, I think it was somewhat around 4 or 5 days. No, not straight. You begin making grave mistakes if you're lacking sleep constantly. But still, from the time we got up to when we went to sleep again, it was something like 14-16 hrs every day, only disrupted by the occasional meal or shower.

PS: It rocked!
