A Complete Alternate Reality For Conservatives.

Yes.

I picture this being big in homeschooling circles. Isn't this exactly what homeschooling is about? Ign'ant parents who want their kids to grow up just like they did: ign'ant.

This is an odd statement, as homeschooled children easily outperform traditionally-schooled children.

So True. I never had a teacher who cared for me including education more than my mother.

Some do; many other get only indoctrination.
America was builted on home-schooling. I wished I still had that huge list of great men (women) who were home-schooled.

"Some do." That's cute. As the kids say, homeschooled students own state-schooled students. On average, they do much better, despite being educated by conservative yokels with little training. It's no surprise that the NEA is vehemently opposed to homeschooling.

Yes, but we don't live there anymore.

More and more people are living there every year.

And are you or aren't you a young-earth Creationist?
I'm a creationist. On just what the age of this planet is that still up for grabs so I'm not as dogmatic as those on both extremes 6,000 years vs 4.5 billion.

Despite the "extreme" on the opinion of 4.5 Ga composes of the (virtual) entirety of scientific community with boatloads of evidence; and the "extreme" in the opinion of 6 000 years are a few pseudosciencists pedaling PR and rhetorical tricks, with no evidence what so ever.

Yep, those 4.5 billion crazies. The planet isn't a day over 4,499,994,000 years old.

1st off, congrats on the ironical "builted".

2nd... HUH?

The Puritans were famous for their advocacy of public education. One of the hallmarks of America then and now was the access to education (as well) for the average person.

If one thinks 4.5 billion years is an "extreme" view for the age of the Earth, I am concerned with the standardized testing that suggests a home-schooled student such as this is of superior education to an institutionalized student.

From the people who brought you Conservapedia we now have GodTube. Here is a clip where the world famous scientiest "Charley" offers up some views on the age of the earth:lol:

I thought this group would find it interesting. I think Charley is Perfections father.

Topic for conversation: Do you like to read primairly sources that agree with your world view or do you like to see what the other side is spouting. Will the internets allow us to all live in an alternate reality where everyone aggrees with our POV?

I like how he insinuated once at a young Earth yet later accidentally admitted that it's at least 2 million years old.

Is that why the US now imports scientists from elsewhere, and worry why their own kids do badly at these sujects?

For the most part we all are imports from other countries. (Also we now have public schools)
Americans realize for example that Jews on average are good at business so it's for our best interest not to run them off unlike what Russia did a few years ago.

I like hanging out where people who disagree (with me) have nothing but logical fallacies to defend themselves with. It gives me a huge sense of superiority.

What's that business gene called again... ah yes, moneysine kinase.

I think it's unfair that only the Jews are born with it, but that's life.
