1) Acrobat 7.0 (full version) locks up sometimes when I try to print. Even if I delete the temp files it still locks up. I have to reboot the computer to get it to print. (The freeze happens before I get the dialog box where I can choose a printer.) I installed Foxit Reader but it has the same problem.
2) About half the time, when I start the computer it doesn't connect to the Internet. I have a Linksys wireless connection, and it's completely random whether I can get on. Sometimes it connects on startup, and sometimes it doesn't. Might as well flip a coin. When it doesn't connect, I can't connect manually because of Error 227 (Platform Service not running). In those cases I also have to reboot.
3) I've also had problems with Office applications. Word freezing on Startup, and Excel locking up like Acrobat when I try to print.
Is there a quicker solution to any of these than rebooting? This is my work computer. It's had a lot of issues and I've figured out solutions or workarounds for most of them but I can't solve these three.
