... To Civilization and all those who have played the franchise in it's nearly 20 year history.
Civ-Trash
This entire concept is pure garbage, with the Civilization name bolted on top of a game concept that is in no way what made Civilization the greatest computer strategy game/franchise in history. Almost none of the basic elements of Civilization exist in this "game". Its only likely (and probably unintended, at least as a primary design goal) redeeming value would be to make some people become aware of real Civilization, who would otherwise not know anything about it.
Further, none of the underlying bricks of world history or footnotes exist which add a useful dimension of fun learning: the only lessons this Facebook trash seems to teach is that enriching vultures who use the micropayment model to siphon money from primarily the underage is a short cut to poking one's finger in the eye of a friend with vaguely camoflagued appeal to baser human nature to buy with cash what a young player is too lazy to obtain in "gameplay". Yes, 'Gameplay' is a loose term, and a generous term, for yet another attempt of the elder educated puppetmasters to exploit the underage in our society, while masquerading this as yet another "game".
Disgusting
Any Fanatic Civ player should be utterly repulsed.
Anyone with appreciation of Sid's Civilization concept can just be disgusted.
Spanked
Perhaps all references to this "game" (which should not be dignified with the term "Civilization") should be spanked, and sent to a single locked thread, which contains a FAQ and references to the various incarnations of real Civilization. Certainly, this entire concept is an outrage and should have zero point zero percent implied association with Civilization.
The Wall
A locked thread is all this facebook "game" deserves, and even that is rather generous.
Or...
Perhaps the creators and profiteers should be stood up against a wall and...
