I am gonna try and do another story with Civilization V; here's hoping that it won't crash like last time

Playing as Cerberus; named Pokemon Empire in the story (two extra spies; all spies recruited at full rank)

Continents; low sea level, abundant resources, 24 city states and 14 players (including myself)

Victories are disabled, as well as Happiness; to try and push the AI to expand more

Mods: Many, will provide a list if people want; I've modded the game to the point where it takes several minutes to load

First Post will be coming shortly!

How did this happen? White, an albino Lucario, sat at the edge of the water. Behind her was the meager settlement Asura (A Zoroark), Albin, (human), Obsidian (Umbreon), and the others had set up. They left their last world after immense termoil for them, forced out by the other civilizations of their world, the Pokemon (and those who followed them) were forced to leave the planet. Hell, they left the universe, not wanting to ever come back. Using magics only she knew; White was able to transport her and a handfull of others to a new place, hopefully a new beginning...

The Zoroark approached her from behind "We've got all we need, White. But our technology doesn't work"

"It will not work in this universe, we need to start again" She turned, heading to the settlement "Get Albin on studying it, we need to figure out how to get around this... Send out scouts to map the area" SHe cleared her throat "And get the 'high ranking' people to my tent... I need to extend our lifetimes"

Asura blinked "You can do that?"

White smiled "It'll take time, but I can extend our lifetimes for as long as I wish... We need to make sure this doesn't happen again... We will not be destroyed again so easily..."

Albin rubbed his forehead "They found what?"

The Murkrow scout cleared his throat "Sir, they found ruins of what seems to be a dead settlement... inside was this relic" Setting it on the table, he slid it to the human, who picked it up, studying it

"This'll help us understand the world around us... Good find, go out and see if you can find more... We need all we can get"

"We found them in a settlement not too far from Coronet"

White smiled a bit "They are from our group, though; you're sure?"

The Murkrow nodded "Aye ma'am, they called me by name"

"Very good, get your men back here, we're sending out the specialized scouts out now, we need you home

Obsi growled softly "I don't care if you've never seen him, boy. You'll do the best you can with the directions I've given you"

The construction worker swallowed, rolling his shoulders "B-But ma'am, no one has seen Arceus..."

"I have. Now go finish the project! We must please him and the other Gods!"

Pidgey dropped one of the strange weapons on the table before Asura, who studied it quietly for a moment "There was enough for all of you to use one?" The Pidgey nodded "Right... Take this to Albin, tell him to look into it, see if we can't use it, eh?"

"Ma'am! Their brushing the edge of our defenses! If we don't do something, they will begin assaulting! They aren't very organized, but they can kill innocents if no help is sent"

White groaned softly, grabbing the stick-and-stone type weapon off of the ground, heading out the doorway "Get Asura, tell her to lead a defense inside the city. I'll head out with the warriors"

Rubbing her forehead, the Lucario stood up, over the last dead enemy of the barbarian band. He was human, grizzled from living in the forests for his whole life... Her unit had sustained only minor casualties; hopefully future encounters would be so easy...

"Bastards!" White threw a chair against the wall, grabbing her head and yelling out in anguish "How many made it back?"

"Three, ma'am... The rest were... killed"

Punching a hole in the wall, the Lucario growled softly "We need to be more careful... We don't have the people to spare yet... Promote the survivors, offer them a spot on the second scouting team..."

Spoiler :

"We need to expand, Obsi. What else would you suggest? Staying here while these barbarians tear us apart?"

Obsi leaned against the wall "White, the last time we separated like this, it cost us the Sinnoh region, and lead to us falling in our last world..."

White sighed "Obsi, I've lost track of how many decades we've been here... Don't you think it'd be best for us to start now? We have enough people now, that spliting up won't kill us either way"

Obsi was silent, finally speaking up "Fine... But I lead the settlement team and head the city"

White nodded "Deal"

"We will not be beaten by barbarians!" White stood in the courtyard, in front of the lines of new recruits "Our last empire was beaten only when several different nations attacked us at once! Will we let simple barbarians beat us back, recruits?!"

"NO MA'AM!"

"Damn right! Listen to your squad leaders, apply whatever wisdom they provide to heart; and bring honor and glory to our growing empire!"

"Take up position in the hills, have Obsi take the scouts to the plains, they'll flank them" White smiled, cracking her neck as the troops moved. Once night fell, the troops moved to their assigned positions. Rushing the openings of the encampment, they took down many of the sleeping barbarians before they could grab their weapons. The next morning, as the enemy was loading ships for a retreat, the deafening cry of the Pokemon soldiers sent shivers down their spines "FOR THE FALLEN!"

As the sun set on the second day, no barbarian was left standing, or on land. The soldiers and scouts feasted well that night

Overseeing the last preperations for the new settlement, Obsi implimented some new policies for the cities, mostly centered around monuments to fallen soldiers, the Gods, and other things. The other's backed the policy totally, and the people were all to happy to follow suit

"Albin, I really don't think this design is practical..."

Albin cleared his throat "White, if you want me to work faster, I'm going to need somewhere to do my work. Giving me this space will not only help me, but it'll inspire others to help me, I'll get more people to help out if this works"

Shrugging a bit, the Lucario rubbed at her chin "Fine... Take as many workers as you need, take some off of the fields to help you, just make sure you give them back, yeah?"

The human nodded "Of course"

"Sir, Obsi suggested that building this in the Gods' honor would boost support of them"

Albin looked up from the construction plans "And how would that work? Would the Gods build it for us?"

The Machamp shook his head "No, but she was positive that you'd get more support in building the Lab"

"Fine... I don't like it, the Gods have not done anything to help us... Tell her I'll build it in honor of the Creation Trio, and we'll see if that works" The Machamp nodded quickly, happily leaving the room "Maybe we'll get the Gods to pay more attention with this..."

Spoiler :

"I can't believe we made it without trouble, Obsi... It's amazing really, I thought this area would be overrun"

Obsi smiled, turning to the Zoroark "The Gods are with us, Asura, was there ever really any doubt?"

Asura shrugged a bit "I'll need more proof than that, Obsi... If the Gods are still there, I wish they'd show it more"

"Scouts report encampments to the north and the south ma'am; we already have the army moving up north, but I fear that without more to assist, we'll be attacked from the south"

Asura stared out the window overlooking the sea by Coronet, letting out a long sigh "I was hoping we wouldn't need more troops... Start work on a unit, train them to be hard hitting but fast. We need to be able to respond quickly to threats"

The human saluted, heading out of the building to give the word to the captain of the guard

White pulled back the the attack, letting her troops push forward toward the bandits ahead; panting loudly "I want the scouting unit to hit them from the side; these bastards must not reach our borders!"

Adrian looked up from the map of the area; speechless for a couple of seconds "But... They aren't trained for combat, they could be killed!"

The Lucario snarled softly "They knew the risks of signing up; order them to attack. Better we lose them than the farms around the city"

Spoiler :

White sat overlooking on the hill overlooking her small band of warriors; who were recovering from the recent fights in the area. Next to her was Adrian, her son born in this world... He had no knowledge of the world from before "The more I look at it, son, the more I feel the need to fight alone... I'd be better suited for combat without a unit, and they'd be better for it"

Adrian raised his brow in surprise "But what if you're injured, or killed?"

White smiled a bit "I doubt I'd be killed, injuries are a part of the job, and I can deal with that"

(In this game; Generals are actually Heroes; combat units who can take place in combat and level up like any other unit)

The bandits rushed into Nightbringer; the small town looked devoid of life; all civilians were either hiding or had left minutes before. The bandits continued deeper into the city, looking for the town hall, looking for valuebles along the way. Halfway through the city, guards rushed them from all sides, killing several before they could raise their weapons in response. Afriad and losing the battle, the bandits retreated out of the city; though not fast enough to avoid losing most of their men...

The unit White was leading had established a reputation among the bandits for ruthless destruction of any enemy they fought; many of the bandits believed them to be demons, which sent some men running when they found them at the doorstep of their encampment. Those who stayed found out just how right those legends were; most were cut down in the first rush...

Spoiler :

To the south, a new, faster moving unit had been created, and was busy making short work of the encampment to the south. Within a few rushes, the encampment fell, much to the relief of the citizens of the area. The Empire was safe once more, and it's leaders could once again focus on other things

White stared up at the massive building, its marble gleaming in the sunlight, people from all over town came to see the amazing construct and to read its books and scrolls. Albin stepped out of the building, heading down to White "Good news. With the new space and volunteers, we've advanced our knowledge more that expected. One of the volunteers made a breakthrough with the metals the scouts found to the north. With these new facilities, we should be able to fully know what to do with them in a couple years"

White smiled and nodded slowly "Good to hear Albin. Hopefully it continues to go this smoothly in the future"

New policies were passed in the two cities of the Empire. Any city with the Pokemon Empire would be required to elect mayors. Localized leaders in the cities would help with management of the cities, especially in food growth. Any new groups wanting to head out to start a new city would need to take an elected official along with them, simply for the sake of streamlining the start of the new city

A new shrine was built in Nightbringer; this one built solely by Obsi, was dedicated to Darkrai. Lifesized, the marble creation sat in the center of the market's courtyard. The Umbreon would be seen praying there daily, despite the majority of the population having forgotten about the Gods. Some began to join her, boosting the faith in this once faltering city

Scouts found another barbarian encampment to the north. With the grounds for a new city being put underway, the leaders of the Empire wasted no time in sending all available units up to destroy the barbarians. While the sheer number of them offered a challenge; the better equipped and better trained soldiers of the Empire swiftly defeated the enemy barbarians, though not without sustaining heavy losses in the short, brutal war. The way now lay open for the settlers from Coronet to set the new city to the northwest; naming it Icarus

I will have a couple posts for tomorrow guys; sorry about the short absence

Also, anyone have anything they would like to see added to the story? Any suggestions on how to make it better?

Pretty Good so far. It would be quite a challenge to combine two nonsensical universes like those of Pokemon and Civ. But I have genuinely enjoyed reading it.:goodjob:
