I was actually just wondering about Ice and Fire mods myself actually.

maybe you could combine with Andeloke's mod? He has some cool looking House standards. Anyway I'd be interested to hear more about your mod.

I have been working on a CIV4 Mod for the George R. R. Martin books Song of Ice and Fire.

I have seen that andeloke was working on this with a post dated in 2006, but have seen little since.

I have been making good progress but could use some help. I am new to Modeling and am fumbling my way through it.

My current problem is in getting a "Great Wall" terrain feature to work correctly on the map. I don't know how to do the graphics, so I used some images that were creatred by black_rose

My problem is that I can't get the wall orientation correct. I can place a wall segment on the map but it is always oriented from the upper left to the lower right. I want it to be oriented directly left to right. There must be some orientation or direction command line that can be added to the map script. Please help.

I am also open for design input and recommendations. For example - I am working on the "Diplomatic Text" for each of the civs. Anyone who has read the books and has an imagination can help out with some diplomatic text (i.e. Jon Snow when REFUSE_TO_TALK "The Night's Watch does not involve itself in the affairs of kings")

I only have dial-up where I live - so please e-mail me directly with any input so that I don't have to try the slow process of searching the forums
