Phlobodia completes chariot, starts chariot. Wheaties completes worker, starts barracks. Azzaman founded a town claiming some iron (at least I think that town is new – it’s hard to remember). My unit costs are getting a little uncomfortable, even in Monarchy - I have support for 30 units, but I have 54. With 0% science and 0% luxuries, my Treasury is only at +25 gpt… and I’m still weak compared to Meleager. On the IBT my spearman kills a barb but doesn’t promote.

I have gone into anarchy and are putting high emphasis on food for the 5 turns that it will last (since food continues to be collected).

Mel is in anarchy – I guess he finished Republic. I found an iron colony of Mel’s – he has at least one other source inside his territory though. Horsie Horsie founded, starts worker.

-825 – Rebedia completes a chariot and starts a chariot. We are average compared to Mel!! Let’s see, I have 3 regular warriors and 2 veteran warriors (42.5), 1 veteran spearman (14), 2 regular curraghs (15), and 23 veteran chariots (230) for a total of 301.5. Mel has less than 377. I know he has a regular curragh and a veteran spearman, so if everything else is veteran immortals, he can’t have more than 12 of them. With galleys coming soon, it’s time to get some Mounted Warriors, so I turn research back on to 50% for Horseback Riding in 3 – interesting, I guess I did 1 scientist research for a turn earlier.

I have noticed however that chamnix has a lot of cities by the coast with no defenders. I could send a few horses over there and take alot of them by the time he could respond.
