I've starting to have a large number of saves from my games, and I've downloaded a few saves from Civ 5 Succession Games/GOTM
To manage these saves I want to do what I did in Civ 4, create a folder structure, with different folders for games I played in different 'styles' and separate folders for Succession Games/GOTM
Page 13 of of the Civ 5 manual says "You cannot by default save your games to other directories".
So it appears that Civ 5 (currently) only allows you to save and upload to and from folders the game created on install.
I'd hope this will change with a patch, but is there workaround that allows you to save and upload from other folders in the mean time?
