A World at War

Awesome,

A demographic picture can be good, i want know where is russia in shield and gold production

A question, in this Scenario, you make you own units or here is improvement what produce them?Becouse i see many variety and is rare in civilization...

This is from a "completed scenario" from the creation forum. These often feature fully placed units, towns and roads, everything. Nearly all units are made for the scenario or at least not from C3C.

You may start out with hundreds of units day 1, and of course so does the other guys. Some structures or wonders do make units, not sure about this one as I have yet to play it. I loaded it up, but it is a huge effort to play.

Here is a demographics comparison near the start of the game to the present time.

Playin in sid and owning the computer.Awesome...

A question, how strong is the AI in civ?I mean, how efficent is in medium-high levels compared to a medium player?or it is stupid and need the game bonus?

And How is the corruption? You can really found and use for conquered cities

And last, i read what the AI raze the cities in that mod.It happen so often?

You will get many replies to that question, but it after years of gameplay, humans cracked the code on how to defeat the AI at the highest levels. The AI relies on the production bonuses and reduction in science costs to keep up with the human. The AI will allow its large stacks to be bombarded into oblivion by air attacks without complaint.

Corruption varies in the generic game, and many factors are involved. There are other places in the forum that discuss corruption in great depth. In this scenario, corruption is not bad at all. My Chinese cities far from Russia are as productive as many in the USSR. There are no specialist policemen in the scenario to reduce corruption, but it really is not impacting the ability to build many units.

In this mod, the designers built wonders in each city for no other reason than to avoid the AI razing them. The AI will not raze cities with wonders in them. Otherwise, there's nothing like watching half the cities on earth disappear. Later, a no-raze patch was developed for the game that I normally use anyways that solves that problem.

First M60 is a very experienced player. Second scenarios that start you with lots of units and towns effectively negates the bonus advantage of Sid.

Not all the bonus as they still have the cost reduction, that is not what gets you. What gets you is that they start with 18 troops and 2 extra settlers. This means they can kill you right off the bat.

Here they will have a harder time as you have units to fight with and lots of towns to make research possible. This was why most games were played on island maps aas the AI cannot invade so well.

The level of difficulty has no impact on how well they play as far as tactics. All level use the same AI settling, unless you change it in the editor. They just seem better as instead of coming at you with 2's and 3' like Regent, they come with larger numbers.

Instead of being behind in tech and using weaker units, they are ahead and have better units than you in the early going.

It is a bit nerve racking to be on a pan map and watch dozens of units wander around, while you have next to none.

Week 25, 1943

A check of British military power shows the dockyards have been working overtime to replace the losses of Lion battleships. They have commissioned 9 new vessels over the last 3 weeks. Comrade Stalin has been convinced if the English are expending their resources on such lavish naval units, that the British Army must be lacking at home.

You appear to being doing quite well in this game, do I hear a conquest victory calling :D?

This is AWESOME :goodjob:

Very nice progress! :goodjob:

I've noticed there are numerous airfields available. Did you planted them or have you conquered them? If you made them, why won't you use the cities as a base for you fighters and bombers?

And how big is the army of the USSR at the moment? As I see all these screenshots you must have vast amounts of of tanks, artillery and plains.

The Yak fighters have a limited intercept range of 2 tiles. By placing them in between cities, they can protect more than one. MiG-3s have a range of 5, but they are not as capable as the Yak-9.
