The Wessex flag of a golden dragon. I think I am done!

Flag for Circind. I want to draw my flag properly, but since it won't look that much different this is a good placeholder. I just prefer the personal touch.

Thankyou all. I'm going to be a bit busy the next few days, but then we will really see some progress!

I really hope by the time I return everyone has filled in their stats, got a description.
 
Google seems to think this is the Wessex flag and Wiki did say their symbol was a Golden dragon on a red background. I hope you don't mind too much Charles.

So is your capital Caer EBtacuc or york#?
 
They would appear to be the same thing (roughly) acording to Wiki. Is my nation ok? I know I asked before but I can't remember if I got a reply or not.

Sorry, my nation is abducted so early that everyone assumed it was annexed by Wessex. Also, I would like mine to be purple with a sword on one end and a tree on the other.

Description: The name Dál Riata, or Dal Riada, means 'Reuda's Share', Reuda being the eponymous founder of the kingdom, one who united various Gaelic territories already existing on both sides of the Irish sea, during a time of war and instability in Ireland itself. Gaelic language and influence had long been present in the area, as a result of peaceful travel and settlement as well as invasion. The Argyll peninsular and its surrounds are different from mainland Ireland, but culturally they also form part of the Irish sea provinces, easily distinguished from the rest of the highland kingdoms of Britain.

OOC: finally, a NES where my people have highland cows :D The flag, though, will be something to do with a wild boar, as I believe that was a real symbol of theirs. Will have a go at making one later...

I hope that making up my own description is fine? I actually did some research, and according to Wikipedia (at least) nothing really was present in Lindsey at this time, it was at least quite boring things that happened. :/

No worries. Lindsey was pretty boring, and weak. You will have a bit of a fight on initially, but I am sure with your good leadership, it has all the chance of being a great success ;)

Essentially I want the setting to be accurate, and the technologies that will become available. How nations interact and develope is completely up to the players.
