Was playing a game as the Sheim(?). The AC was at 51. I had 3 cities constructing the Elegy when one of them was completed.

Suddenly the AC shoots all the way up to 100 and I get bombarded with armageddon notices, oddly enough in reverse order (avatar, apocalypse, horseman 4, horseman 3) and quickly die as the entire land spontaneously burst into flame and I get assaulted by multiple horseman with half my army (and both level 15+ heroes) joining the avatar.

What could have caused this. I'm not aware of anything in the game that would max out the counter like that. The infernals were in play, could that have done it?

Post a save from shortly before the jump happened, if you can. That's pretty impressive...

I have a save 10 turns before it happened, but I can't recreate it. The jump doesn't happen again. The only other thing I have is a saved game right after it happened.

There is some sort of bug like this that I have seen before. I was doing a multiplayer back in .30 with two Sheaim players. The AC went from 1 to 100 around turn 8. We both casted Worldbreak and then I was killed by Ars Moriendi.

Hmm, two Sheaim players? Worm4Life, any chance there were two Elegy of the Sheaim rituals on the same turn, maybe there is some weird imapct if it is cast twice in the same turn (which wouldn't normally be seen since it is so rare.?)

Best wishes,

Sounds like what happens when you cross the beams

I'm pretty sure only one was completed that turn. Looking at the save file 10 turns before the rituals aren't scheduled to be completed at the same time.

Plus it doesn't explain how Cyther's happened on turn 8.

his happened in 0.30... that's like a year ago, could very well be 2 different causes...

BTW what does it mean to "cross the beams"? that a Star Trek reference?
