Chieftain
After extensive "testing" I have reached 94 out of 120 achievements. However, I believe that some of the achievements might be bugged because they have not triggered when I expected them to.
Has anyone else triggered the following, and under what circumstances?
Can't We All Just Get Along?: Play and win a game without ever declaring war
Definitely done this one...
Cat Fight: As a female leader, defeat all other present female leader in a single game.
Does this mean defeat any female leaders who happen to be present? Or a game in which you select all the female leaders as opponents and win?
Hundred Years War: Be engaged in a single war for 100 or more consecutive turns.
Definitely done this one...
I Have the Power: Win 20 battles with a single unit.
Think I've done this one... certainly have had some very high XP units...
Magellan: Prove that the world is round by uncovering a connected loop of tiles around the circumference of the world.
Known to be bugged and a "fix" is available elsewhere
Manifest Destiny: Completely control and have contiguous borders around your starting continent.
Definitely done this one, at least on archipelago maps
Model of a Modern Major-General: Train all Units, across any number of playthroughs.
Think I've done this one. Does it include unique units? Could not having Babylon be the problem?
The Elephant Battle: Destroy another Civ's unique unit with a Naresuan's Elephant.
Definitely done this one vs a Greek Hoplite
Tomb Raider: Pillage gold from an Egyptian city with a burial tomb in it.
Been questioned elsewhere - I've definitely rolled through the Egyptians in the industrial era but don't know exactly what is meant by "pillage gold from a city" - pillage improvements? capture city? raze city?
War Canoe Attack: As askia, conquer a city on another continent.
Done this on archipelago, continents and earth maps, conquering both city-states and other civs cities.
