Pre-Turn
decrease science a lot, we can't afford that deficit research with no money
trying to fugure those many small stacks we have. I am a fan of big stacks to win decisively, will combine them if I can
1. 965AD
bombard defenses and wait for more troops everywhere, this looks too chaotic to me
2. 980AD
moving and bombarding
3. 995AD
suicide 2 cats retreat another, then kill 2LB's and 1 spear and York is ours
lose 1 sword but manage to raze Kagoshima. I raze it since it has little value at the moment. We can always get our own city up there next time
4. 1010AD
we get liberalism first, get nationalism for free. We need maces to take out England, thus go for metal next
plan to take Warwick and sue for peace with England and come back 10 turns later with better units
5. 1025AD
Warwick is a hard nut to crack, lose 3 cats and 1 sword but defeat both LB's and we have the city. Time for peace:
we get HBR, 20gold and 2gpt for peace, no way she would give up feudalism
now, we need to get rid of Satsuma and Edo, then go after England again
6. 1040AD
first small stack reaches Edo
7. 1055AD
bombardment of Edo commences, but too few units there
8. 1070AD
Edo's defenses are down to 0, need to wait 2 turns for more units to arrive
9. 1085AD
metal is in, machinery next, but with 30% science it isn't too hot
decide to attack Edo, lose 1 cat but take out 3 archers and 1 spear and city is ours as well
Japan enjoys being OCC
we have units streaming from all directions towards Satsuma, will take a few turns and city is gone
10. 1100AD
England demands paper, no way
Satsuma has 7 defenders, thus a hrad nut to crack, we get more cats there and maybe in 3-4 turns we
can attack.
The after we got machinery, get maces and go back after England.
btw Kyoto is going for FP
the situation at Satsuma
