[ADD-ON] GIRs Sevomod Add-On

hi gir,

i see - but still - in the game - the ai somehow got the 6 units in early times,

and the militery academy is written the same in the xmls,

the training camp - how can i move it to later tech so the builder would build it in the proper time? just change it in the building info??


anyway gir,

a new problem -

in the city zoom,
there is a massive slow down in my combined mod,
its probably python connected,
any ideas where and hoy to edit?

would you like me perhaps send you the wr python?
 
The Sevo Military Academy has the text key “MILITARYACADEMY” and provides +3 experience and +25% military production. I don’t know if you have problems with this building (can’t test it because I don’t have warlords yet).
My Special Force Trainings Camp (Late Game Wonder) has the text key “MILITARY_ACADEMY” and that is maybe the same as the Military Academy in Warlords. That means change all the text keys of my Trainings Camp to another name (in all related xml files and python files) and after that merge our mods. If it has another name you will not get this units with the warlord academy (that’s impossible if you really changed all related text keys)!

Well, the python code / slow city screen issue:
There are a lot of python mods in sevomod. Plotlist Enhancement, Specialist Stacker, …
If you want to make a warlord compatible version you have to make sure that everyone of these python mod components is compatible with warlords. Some of this mod components are already available for vanilla and warlords (check mod componets thread).
For example the Plot List Enhancement by 12monkey not only adds the plot list buttons, it also fixed a lot of bugs in the vanilla civ4. Warlords also fixed some of this bugs and now if you use the Plot List Enhancement for vanilla civ4 with Warlords this could lead to some problems… The same goes for all the other mod components, especially for all the interface mods.

I have no problem with the easy python stuff like in Monument.py or SevoMod.py, but the interface related python stuff is more difficult.

as i thought at first all seemed ok,

but as a moved on - irealized that the python must be 100% comp with wr or boom - ctd.

if you followed my thread you probably saw the stuff there and the problems.

so i decided to build my mod first with no python of complex componants - and easy easy to add mod componants.

one thing that i cannot allow my self to leave out - the partisan!

so if you can just instructed me where to put the code in wr files...

i can use the code that you sent me a while ago for sevovanilla ?

Could you plz upload the partisan files I sent you a while ago? After that I will change them that they work as stand alone mod.

gir, i know its a big requast, but,
do you think perhaps you can modify your version to warlords (vanilla)? just making sure that its compatibble to warlords?

i know its a big reqaust,

but's it worth a try ...(to ask you)

if you agree.. i can send the python code for warlords (i need only your python encoding - no xml are neede- and not your current test version.)

amra modpack+5uu

and i wonder , is it possible that you can assist us with the merge of you mod? i dont think that it would be difficult for you!amra didnt made that much changes to the python files, and i guess you only have to make a few reffernces to you monument file and be oer with it,

a lot of people loves yur mod, including me, and we just cant play without it,

so i ask you, will you help and merge your mod with amras?

i would love to help, but at the moment i can`t download anything (only 56k modem).
so i have to go to some friends of my to download mods :(
also i'm jobbing in a big "chemical industry company" (shift working) and have to work at home, too. therefore i dont have a lot of free time at the moment.
i hate semester breaks :lol:
but maybe i can download your amara mod in the next few days
and also make a stand alone mod for vanilla and warlords.
a new nice update of my mod is ready for release (lots of new changes), just waiting for sevo and his new patch for 3.1.

i cant wait for the new version, ill update my vanilla kelgir mod once sevo and you will release it.

also, my amra mod wont be complete untill i have your version in it.

me and my friend prefer to play with your mod then my new amra, its just isnt the same!!! also - most people in my thread says the same thing.

really hope youll have a little time for the help.

Hey GIR the Part 2 wonder movie download link no longer works. The site popsup a message about the file having been deleted due to infrequent download or something.
