As you know, we created the new File Database yesterday.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php

I created categories for Civ2 files. If anyone can help add the existing files in the downloads collection to the database, it would be greatly appreciated. You don't need to be the file author to add files. Adding newer Civ2 scenarios not in the downloads collection is welcomed too.

I'm willing to help but are we supposed to just link it back or download it and reupload it?

Thanks for helping to add the files, Colonel! I appreciate it. It will take lots of work to add all the files but hopefully we can add them all to the DB after a month or two.

BTW here is something I posted to the Site Feedback thread about file size:

A small tip about converting file size to bytes:

You can use Google to do the math easily. For example, if your file is 17.5 MB, just type "17.5 MB to bytes" and hit search. Google will return "17.5 megabytes = 18 350 080 bytes". Then you just copy and paste the number, then remove the spaces in it. If you don't remove the spaces the system will not record the file size.

You might as well use a calculator and multiply the size in MB by 1048576 :)

TF, I fixed the size on all the ones I had added, but thing I was thinking about is, if there is a size limit for actually uploading. I was thinking about downloading scenerios with multiple file links putting it into one zip and upload it, but I wasn't sure if there was a size limit so I just put extra links in the Description.
