Wallachia's design is really cool, and I think the UU is a bit OP yet very unique.
Also, is the Yemen split just a plan or is it actively on your list? I'm very exited nevertheless.
If anything, he looks more like Michael VII (or John II, since they seem to have the same face).I feel Mircea looks a tad too similar to Justinian.
Thanks and yeah, it's clear that the values are too high
Yemen was never a split, I think? Yemen was indeed on my list, but it got randomly dropped. I do that often lol. I mean, err, I couldn't quite come up with a cohesive design, with relevant uniques for Arwa, nor a trait, as it wasn't quite that clear what exactly made her such a great ruler. Also, apparently, in the medieval ages, there was this affluent trading dynasty, which would provide more options, except none of the leaders are quite as .. pronounced, or should I say, backed up properly with information. They're all quite obscure here in the.. er.. Western worldAlso, I'm bad at female leader art, and leader art in general, so..
Anyway, it might just get back on that list, but I'm mainly interested in updating my civilizations now, and making some new civs for the Balkans, especially under Matthias Corvinus & John Hunyadi. I want to update Skanderbeg after Wallachia, it's been long overdue. And probably still will be![]()
Oh ok. I just saw the Qat plantation on the wiki and got excited.
What is planned for Taiwan? Are you changing anything or are you just updating them?

And fix the icons, I suppose.
Well, you can always do a blob civ.
It actually has the files for the sun as an alpha icon, but Taiwan's AlphaIconAtlas is ALPHA_DJSH_JUNK instead of ALPHA_DJSH_TAIWAN.
As far as I remember, Taiwan has two icons: one is the Kuomitang sun, and the other is a war junk. The former shows up on diplomacy stuff, menu screens, etc. while the latter shows up on the city tooltip. I don't know if you've fixed it already and the last time I saw the civ in action it was outdated, but if not, you should settle for one. I particularly recommend the war junk, as it fits more with the civ's timeline.
So, Wallachian music?
Link to video.
I'd cut it and use the part from 4:35 roughly so you can have peace and war music.
This civ seems great, the UU probably doesn't need so much defensive strength (it kinda seems impossible to kill right now) but otherwise it looks cool and unusual.
Wallachia really needs some music. I'm surprised this was left out honestly.
I've discovered a somewhat weird bug that seems to be linked to your Byzantine split. If I have that mod enabled, allied city-states don't connect some of their strategic resources for me. It starts with coal and extends to all strategic resources that come after it. No matter how much time has passed, they will never connect the resource for me, even if they build the appropriate tile improvement on it. The only way to connect them is to use the "improve a resource" option under the donate tab, and the tile improvement on the strategic resource is then replaced by a fort that reads " TXT_KEY_IMPROVEMENT_DJSH_BASIL_II_TRAIT"if you mouse over it. That then connects the resource.
