I'm moving this Saturday and my current ISP doesn't have service in the area I'm moving too. We won't get internet back until about a month from now, possibly sooner. So I was wondering if the Admins on this site can keep my name active. Because I know on some other forums I use, they delete usernames that have been inactive for a few weeks. I will for sure get my internet back, just not sure how soon. I mean, if I'm inactive for months and stuff, then you can go ahead and delete me.

So my question is, does the Admin delete users that have been inactive? And if so, can the Admins keep my name active so that I can continue to use this username when I get my internet back. Thanks.

P.S. With no internet, I'm gonna have more time for CIV3! Haha, I'm going to miss this site while I'm gone.

Not to worry! It is CFC policy not to delete inactive users. Otherwise, we'd have about 3k users, instead of 41k.

Good luck in your move! I always loose something, hope that doesn't happen to you.

Turner's right. The few times that deleting user accounts has been suggested, it's only been focused on zero posters which you're obviously not. Even then, the suggestions are refuted by our ever friendly moderators.

Your account is safe and we'll still be here once you get to rejoin the internet world.

So far as I'm aware TF has never deleted a account on the site. Even when someone requested it. BTW instead of saying Admin just say TF. ;)

Yes, accounts are not deleted. Luckily, as I would propably have lost mine when I forgot my password for half a year or so...

Our policy is not to delete accounts unless we need to delete the actual user from the planet.

You didn't know that? Lefty has a full army of Ninjas waiting for his order! :ninja:

Yeah, and their names are Padma, Chieftess, Ainwood, Matrix, DoM, Eyrei, Col, etc, etc. Well, most of them have names. He was lazy one day and just numbered it XIII.

That's what I meant. I was just testing if you guys were clever enough to realise what I meant. ;)

Yeah but looking back threw the very old threads you can see one guy got his deleted, and they were talking about deleted acounts in the "40000 members" tread.
