Aeon mod, game 3 - Japan

Invade Mexico they now own a city that is Japanese! (That they took from Korea)

That's a fun idea to take those 3 islands. I just need to set up a quick transport to island defense network because AI's may land 2-3 transports at once by a single city occasionally.

Attacking their mainland is a unnecessary move for winning, but could make the game more interesting. I could capture a city or two, but don't think I could hold. Either my entire offense gets wiped out and the survivors end up fleeing on transports, or it becomes an epic battle that lasts a few decades. If I could hold a city or two, it would be possible to push forward. :hmm:

Forgot I had a bunch of deals with Korea and the Euro's and can't attack them yet. Mongolia is mostly blocked off by mountains and road-less terrain, but it's a possibility.
1. Invade Mexico.
2. Try to take Africa, before it becomes completely Algerian.
3. Finally get around to attacking my buddies, Korea.
4. Europe: small nations on excellent land. Very tempting.
5. Mongolia

I think it's interesting...

More great updates. I think I need to go back & reread them all to get it, tho

Spoiler :
April 1941 Japan is one of the six WW2 powers in this mod who have a good amount more units than others during this time (For Sonar and Aerial Combat there are several units not shown because they don't fit in the frame). Here is kind of a tough choice for which of four techs to go for next - tanks vs artillery and infantry vs navy vs air. I went with National Service here for the artillery. These have a chance to remove an additional HP, and everyone knows how strong artillery is for human players - great for slow, steady gains with little casualties.

Okay this is my entire military. Armored cars, Riflemen, Field Howitzers, and all my navy are WW1-era units and kinda outdated. A few leftover medieval units are also still hanging around.

The few up to date units I have are: 5 tanks, 12 newer artillery, and 6 Infantry.
