It is possible you have formed an alliance against you before the game even gets Launched (LoL)

You are ill and the Evil, we are content to have some unhappines where as you are content with killing an entire Civilization (or 2)

Well, I'm not going to put my guinea pig (i.e. Oliver) at the wrong end of Imp. Knoedel's rifles. Plus, I don't want him to suffer the +4 plus a turn or anarchy to revolt into Emancipation later, so all should know that Oliver is officially Emancipated.

I'll switch Oliver's civic, give the game one last lookover, and fire it off to Eclipse...

On your first turn, be sure to check everything out. Make sure you have the right Great People, the right civics, etc. If anything is wrong (shouldn't be since I've made my list and checked it twice and you've all been naughty!), let me know. If I can't fix it via World Builder, you'll have to start over...

For those of you who chose Caste System instead of Emancipation, I want you guys to be clear what you've chosen before the game starts.

1. You'll start out with +5 .
2. You'll have 3 citizens that refuse to work (so your empire will already be less productive than everyone else's and you'll have 3 less specialists that you could hire).
3. You already have a ton of infra and can run up to 1 spy, 1 engineer, 4 merchants, 3 scientists and 12 priests without being in Caste System.
4. You'll either have to burn a GP on a Golden Age or lose 1 turn in anarchy if you switch to Emancipation at a later date.
5. The first Great Person comes at 46 GPP (Great People Points) not 100. I'm not sure why.
6. The shrines give 1 GPro GPP, so no matter what you do, you'll have a small chance of getting a Great Prophet.

The value of Caste System is greatly reduced in this game, especially due to #3 above. So, one last time, are you sure you want to run Caste System now that you know that the situation is a bit different from a normal game? (question for Eclipse and Michkov).

I don't see a post from Oliver but since I also play another game with him, he's sent me message saying his computer has died and he has to deal with Christmas before he can get it repaired.

I've been playing pbem games with him since Warlords exp, so I know he'll be back asap

I may put Oliver in Caste System out of spite! He did put himself at my mercy, which is never a smart play...

I'll work on this today and get it sent off to Eclipse as soon as I'm done. I just went with the play order of when people signed up (at least I think I did). The player order is:

Eclipse
Nighthawk
Imp Knoedel
Natuland
Michkov
Hercules
Oliver

I'm not sure if it was due to Imp. Knoedel's threats or my EXTREMELY persuasive arguments, but everyone has been Emancipated!

Be sure to check out your save right when you get it to make sure everything is correct (i.e. religion, civics, GPs, units, etc.). It would be better to restart after one turn than to figure out something is wrong 10 turns from now...
