AI Declaring War when creating a colony

Are they never going to fix this? This happened to me too. Seems like a bloody simple bug to fix.

Who did you think I meant by "they"? Firaxis perhaps! Some bright chap in the modding community making a mod that fixes it isn't "them" fixing it. That unofficial patch isn't them fixing it either.

My question is "Will Firaxis ever fix this?" I don't see why it's up to the modding community to fix it.
