AI & Player Score Display

Hello, a real noob question.
My score display on the main mapscreen has "dissapeared" I thought it would just be in "Options" but can't seem to find how to get it back!
I am using the Bug Mod, Windows 10 via a Steam installation, and the only way I can contact an AI is through the tech trading screen.

In the right lower corner, normally above the scoreboard, there is a row of icons. It may still be in the same spot or have dropped to the bottom of the right lower corner when the scoreboard is off. One of the icons is the toggle to show or hide the scoreboard. I don't recall offhand which one and I don't have the game accessible at the moment. However, they are all toggles for different displays, so just try them all until the scoreboard appears. You probaly clicked it by accident causing the disappearence.

Another noob question. So I downloaded the Contender save on BOTM, but now I cant find where its downloaded to. I click on the download arrow and it asks me to select an application to open the save with. I am sure this is something simple to get started on the game? I have looked in all of the Load games files in BTS but can see the save there.
Help again someone!
