AI using artillery offensively?? Yeah right and you have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell

Check your Civ CD for a scratch. Maybe that caused a random and favorable mutation of the game code.

Last night, I bombarded the Zulu into nothingness. Shaka never bombarded me back even though he had about 10 artillery pieces.

Not since you already own the game

personally i bought the game but i refuse to use the cd. I always crack every game i buy. I refuse to burnout my cd drive and wear my cd's just because someone is paroniod about loosing 5% of there sales to pirates. (Which btw happens no matter what they do, so just LIVE WITH IT )

Well, I've lived to see it happen myself!! In my current game the Romans are using catapults (not so smart) and cannons (a little smarter) in their offense against the British flank in our (the Brits and I) allied lines. I captured a cannon out in the field defended by Riflemen being used to cut up British terrain improvements but then lost it back to the romans. Not my area of the front anyway.

I ALSO created (and then killed) a Roman GL in the field- saw him get created after my attacks- first defensive GL I've ever seen.

I play a pretty heavily modded version of the game I made, but I didn't change anything I saw as fundamental to the general concepts unit balance, etc., so who knows why there's Artillery being used offensively?!

It's a happy time. No back to wiping them out.
