bug? I never lose any hp when making airsweep, I dont think it's a bug but it would be better if the fighter lost a small amount of hp making that move (taking 10% of the interception damages)

well, actually I guess it's a bug lol: why is there dogfighting proms?

another thing: we don't really see which interceptor is "used" (if you look well, it moves... a very little bit)

edit: sweeps against other planes works well, but is it normal to avoid any damage when making a sweep "against" a ground AA unit (Missile SAM and AA troops)

Pretty sure the Air Sweeps missions are to draw out interceptors.

If you want to use up the AA shots (to save bomber HP?) you'd have to attack something.

yes Air Sweeps are to draw out interceptors but ALSO to use the ground AA shots. It works, but the fighter don't lose hp, so it's too easy.

Hmm. Given that I prefer shooting back to flyovers while getting shot at, I probably never noticed. Either this is a graphic glitch and the "intercept" doesn't really occur or bug in air combat yes.

Mods can't change most aspects of combat like this; it's probably done in the game core only Firaxis has access to.
