The Libertarian? Yeah I think it is safe to say the majority of those votes were not actually Libertarians but Republicans who were pissed at Akin but just couldn't bring themselves to vote for McCaskill.

I probably also would have voted for Dine, although I don't know all that much about any of the canddiates (I know Akin was all on the news for that one comment and I'm assuming he's a theocrat on other issues as well, I'm guessing McCaskill is a moderate, southern democrat, and I know Jonathan Dine was the Libertarian candidate so I'm assuming he'd agree with my small-government values.
