EDITED with screens. I had too many screens, so I had to cut some.
1955AD (375):
Preflight check. Ok, we have more than twice as many points as Caesar, so this game is truly in mop up mode.
There's a big stack of unmoved transports full of units near Lahore, so I send them towards Boston. We'll probably drop into Police State and simply annihilate everyone who's left. It's funny, because Churchill still has more troops than Gilga, lol.
I have no idea why we are building Mobile Artillery in such large quantities. With the advent of airpower, and the removal of artillery from amphibious combat, siege in the modern age is not as valuable as it once was.
I'm not even going to bother MMing the cities, because frankly, who cares?
Moving units up to the soon to be front. Dialing science down to 30% to stay in the black.
Also airdrop some units into the English cities so we can get a leg up on the invasion.
1956AD (376):
Nice...
All the choices piss of Gilga to some extent. I didn't want to choose the -3 because it was expensive and only gave us a relations boost with Qin (which is useless).
Cities coming out of riot are missing some basic stuff, so I work on that. Meanwhile, I fly over more military for the push eastward.
1957AD (377):
Fission comes in and stupid Washington founded a new city. Grr...
We get some gold from Agra in the meantime...
Dial up Fibre Optics. 5 turns at 0% science, so I put it to that.
Honestly, just flying more crap over to the other continent. Extremely boring really. Also dial up some spaceship parts for laughs.
1958AD (378):
UN Vote comes up, and I don't feel like winning next turn just yet, so we vote on banning nukes.
Ok, well, the UN is all peachy and stuff, but this is a waste of time... Luckily, Washington's peace treaty expired this turn. Fun. DoW on both Washington and Gilgamesh and all the vassalage's kick in.
lol.
Love it...
First we blitz the new garbage city of San Fran.
Great, autoraze gave them the partisan event.
We bomb out some other cities, and move a lot of units from York towards Philly.
I also attack some enemy ships, and lose with incredibly good odds. What BS. Luckily, we have like 20 ships in each stack.
The troops for Boston are there this turn, and because there is a lot of artillery, they land.
1959AD (379):
UN unanimously accepts banning nukes. Fun.
We did not get attacked at all in the IT. I have half our jets on intercept, so enemy planes would've died anyways.
Boston has ZERO defense after getting nuked by the ships. So promote the Mobile arties CR3, and go.
Of course, we make up some bad losses by winning 30% chance battles against SEALs. Fun stuff.
We lose nothing taking the city, and all the MAs are flawless.
So yeah, we still have masses of units left, so send them towards Washington. They can attack next turn, if we can find bombers to level defenses. Or they can charge in not caring.
So Philly is next, due to ZERO defense from shelling. We have no artillery in this stack, but the MAs screw over the city just fine.
What's left of the stack that hasn't moved heads towards... uh... NY. Other cities have troops incoming already.
So move to a hill outside Seattle... The garrison is pathetic, and shelled by Bombers. MAs eat the city, as nothing the enemy has can stop CR3 MAs.
Defenses are clear in Uruk, so we valiantly charge despite bad odds. The city is on a hill and we lose some MAs and can't take it this turn. Boo.
Chicago is bombed out already and a massive stack stands nearby. They earn some XP and the city.
Washington down to 5 cities, one which is blocked off by Sumeria, so they need to die first.
1959AD (379):
Washington becomes Caesar's vassal. That guy is such a wimp

.
So I properly bomb Uruk this time and still can't take it. Damn hill, damn AT units. Ok, Churchill has his entire army parked outside Uruk, so I'll let him handle it.
As luck would have it, I continue to lose MCs to Destroyers... Stupid naval combat. Hate it.
1960AD (380):
So Washington is fairly poorly defended, and it gets shelled with the arties. MAs follow up.
Nibru is ALSO on a hill (damn Sumerians), but has minimal defense, allowing us to actually take the city this turn.
1961AD (381):
So Churchill did indeed take Uruk. Oh well. He scores Mr. 300 in the process in Eridu.
So New York is ALSO on a hill, but in range of all our bombers. Fun. Sacked.
The artillery are a turn away from hitting Atlanta, but this place is sort of weak even without them... Let's try our luck.
Well, that was fairly expectable. There were 3 garrison units, and we had 18 units to attack with, lol.
1962AD (382):
Caesar attacks Zimbur in the inturn. Unfortunately for him, I'm using it as an airbase and have substantial armour stationed there to hold it. All his attackers die.
Fibre comes in and we finish 3 spaceship parts. Dial Fusion in 7.
Haha, I just noticed the Maginot line built by Rome against America.
1963AD (383):
So Arretium gets bombed to hell this turn... And we move in as usual with the MAs.
We take the city and the planes inside go poof.
Churchill apparently suicided his units against Sumeria's last city and lost. But he did downsize their defenses. With Arretium taken, the annoying Roman planes that were intercepting our bombers are all dead, so I can safely bomb this city to hell. We follow up with some marines and...
Gilgamesh is dead.
At Antium, Washington has a paper army.
I put a bunch of cities on wealth this turn, because we need it. I would like to avoid a drastic change in civics (i.e. police state and state property. The former for WW to stop the culture slider, and the latter for the colonial expenses).
1964AD (384):
UN Vote comes up again and we force a single currency.
Washington adopts a bunch of wimpy civics that I did not really read.
Lagash is the last American city, and we bomb it, but don't have enough troops to take it this turn. Boo.
1965AD (385):
Wow, we got ANOTHER MC killed by a Roman ship in the Inturn. Ok, forget it. Never building MCs again. What kills me is that he got Geronimo for this...
Ok, our troops are outside Rome, which also happens to be on a hill. So here go the Artillery! Rome has A LOT of defenders, so I send the entire artillery stack before they are all beat to hell. I only lost 2 artillery though, so nice. Ok, MAs up to battle.
Wow, ok, I had JUST enough units left to take the damn city. I had to attack with a Mobile SAM for crying out loud!
Meanwhile, Washington was busy dying...
1 AI left. Less than 3% land to go, so I'll keep this up.
1966AD (386):
Sulei wants open borders, and what the heck, we are about to win anyways...
A Hyder railroad gets nuked by a random event, so I pay to repair it. In retrospect, I shouldn't have, and instead activated the army of workers sitting next to the railroad in Hyder
So Cumae gets mass bombed, and we clear it out.
As the last defender falls, we get Bernard Montgomery born in Lahore!
Ok, well Caesar will capitulate, so let's go for the Conquest victory.
Hit end turn despite stuff doable.
1967AD (387):
Ah, ok Domination triggered first.
The game gives us a score of 37213 and thinks we're Augustus Caesar. We are DEFINITELY NOT Augustus, as he is our vassal now

.
