I haven't seen a reason to use the built-in alarm function until recently. Unfortunately, the alarm seems to pay no attention to what time I set it for. Behold screenshot:

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know a solution?

EDIT: don't tell me 'alarm hours' & 'alarm minutes' mean I have to type in the number of hours and minutes I want it to go off from now! As in, "go off in 2hrs 23mins"? I have to do calculations?

Confirmed.

I'd be embarrassed, only it's such a dumb way to design an alarm clock. Well at least I know how it works now...

It makes sense if you think of it more as a timer than an alarm clock. "Okay, I want to play for an hour today..." type thing.

Yeah I guess. But I'd use it to not miss the bus, say. And that means I'll have to figure out how many hours and minutes till 3.25 pm, instead of just typing 3.25. But I rarely use it, so's all right.
