All possible earth maps

i just started reading this forum and it brings back memories.

so much so, i have programmed something that generates all 64 possible version of the special resource maps, (and i have programmed something to suggest what earth would look like if all the resources were fully terraformed

p.s. there'a probably a much better way of doing this, but i can't figure out what can be viewed by all (e..g html) as well as esaily programmable

A few questions
How did you determine that there are 64 different arrangements of the special resources?
Did you produce the html by hand or through some programmatical method?
Did you derive a formula for this?
How did you verify your data?
