I love how the sheep are still complete OK even after the city got nuked.
This is Civ6. Killing people is fine, but killing animals is the unforgivable sin.I love how the sheep are still complete OK even after the city got nuked.
Just don't ask what happens to the Sheep/Cattle/Fish/Crabs you harvest.![]()
How many people are complaining about game price or poor AI... Alternative it is either DLC or fan riot is only a statement of few people from this forum. We even don't know if Firaxis did some marketing reaserch on it. One thing I know is that content relising of Civ game after first expansion is just stale for me. New playable Civ, graphic cosmetics or new maps or scenarios every two months for reasonable price would be very ok. There is always a category of people who wanted everything for free or max 5 euro. They will always complain. But majority of them will not pay a cent for a game anyway. Every game developer is looking at their customer. And customer is the one who pay. The reason why there is not any DLC after first expansion I suspect is becouse they made a simulation which showed it is inviable.Serious question: How many people who wouldn't buy it are going to complain anyway if a DLC requires another DLC to work?
Yeah, that's why.
That actually makes perfect sense.I'm pretty sure they're given full citizenship rights. That's why your population immediately expands, right?
Well there was a panel by Sid Meier a year or more ago where they bounced ideas off the audience about a stone-age to ancient era game concept which I think would be pretty cool. I can imagine that as a game they might make when they have finished Civ6 but want to use the Engine again until they make Civ7.
Not to say you're wrong, but...you're wrong.
"Continously inhabited as a CITY since" ≠ founded inOldest cities have been founded in 3000 BC according to that so not to say you're wrong in saying he's wrong but... you're wrong.![]()
always... just in case...What is this about announcements? Should I be getting hyped?
"Continously inhabited as a CITY since" ≠ founded in
For Jericho and Damascus for example traces of settlements as early as 9000BC were found. (Yes not directly noticable, but it is stated in the notes column.)
Unless they get razed, of course.Yeah but cities in Civilization are pretty eternal.
Unless they get razed, of course.
I'm surprised they don't release leader packs, or at least include them with the small DLCs. The number of leaders in IV increased replayability a lot, which has always been a big selling point for civ games, so it's a bit confusing that they're doing nothing with it.
I wonder if there might be a small content update/DLC, similar to what's happening for XCOM 2, while development for the expansion takes place. It would be pretty great as the anniversary comes up. The best case scenario for me would be that, accompanied by an expansion announcement![]()
I’m more surprised they don’t do sort of “theme” packs. Introduce a small expansion on an existing mechanic together with some alternate leaders related to that theme.
e.g. Privateer. Expand some naval mechanics, maybe rework Privateer units little and or add some maps, and then add some Renaissance leaders for say Spain, England and someone else.
Espionage. Rework spies a little, and then have new leaders for like... uh... Spain, and England, and someone else.
Medieval Warfare. Rework Medieval units and walls and seiging and things, and have some alternate leaders for like China and Georgia. ... and, say, Spain and England.
