In Russia, the Soviet Army is in full retreat. After the capturing of Moscow by German Infantry, the Soviets tried a counterattack on the city. The attack failed though, and the already famished and tired soldiers are now demoralized. In an attempt to make a last stand, the Soviets have retreated Caucasus, Finland, Kola, and Eastern Europe and dug deep trenches all throughout the Ural Mountains and have massed there.
In Baja California, New Mexican forces have seized the peninsula and the important port of La Paz.
In the Arctic, Japanese forces were taken from the Arctic to protect the territories of the Japanese in the South Pacific from Associate fleets. The British have invaded Norway and re-taken Iceland.
In Turkey, an attempted landing on the area failed to establish a beachhead and was forced to retreat with casualties mounting.
In Persia, Pakistani forces have joined Iranian rebels and formed Persia. The Pakistani army easily overwhelmed the weak defenses.
In North America, Canada joined the New Mexicans in their fight for independence. They have invaded Alaska and have requested recognition of New Mexico or they will keep Alaska.
In North Africa, French troops have barely moved at all, as a new line of Italian troops arrive. In Algeria, though, French troops have cut through Algeria and taken the region. As a gift of thanks for years of assistance, the French government handed over their piece of Egypt.
In Morocco, Spanish troops overran the minor resistance in Morocco and have reestablished their African colonies.
In Northern France, German tanks have busted through the Alsace Line and have dug in, waiting for the Battle of Paris (this is an important battle and will be done with Dice).
In Kazakhstan, riots and protests have erupted and over 500 people have been killed as Soviet police attempt to quell the riots.
In South America, USM forces surprised Free Brazil and Argentina, taking chunks of land.
