I have a shirt like that :D

And by the way, I'm only 14, (yet I'm surprisingly mature compared to my friends).

I played civ2 for the first time when my 8 year old (at the time, he's 12 now) brother got it in a box set with sim city 2000 and settlers 2 (great game), and I don't think he's played civ2 once!

He’ll grow into it. I started the Avalon Hill games (ages 12 & up) before I was 12. I had to be convinced by my older brother because at the time I felt that since I was under 12, I wasn’t allowed to play.

Yeah, I had a similar problem with Avalon Hill's early games. My parents didn't want to let me have one because they were for 12 and up and I was only 10 at the time. But I managed to get D-Day
in the end. Those old AH board games were fun!! :D

19 here... I find it amusing that there are so many old people here... who says "them video games are for those cocky young rascals" anyhow? ;) (My currently Prince Game with the Babylonians is going well so far...)

15!!!
I have a pretty sh!tty comp right now, but when I'm rich and famous(or one of my bros/close friends is), I'll be able to get a new, top-of-the-line(for that month, anyway) comp with all kinds of cool unneccesary periphreals, and all the best games, and spend all my time playing them!!! Whoohoo!!! Of course, I'll have to keep a (relatively) old one around to play old games. I may not have played them in their heyday, but I still love 'em! My only fear is that I'll be forced to 'upgrade' to a newer, 'improved' version of Windows(c)(r)(ap). My OS suits me fine. I don't need one that takes up more room and does everything for me and still sucks. *grumble grumble* I have nightmares that someone installed XP on me, and now my DOS games won't run!!!

If you feel the need to ask, then the answer is probably YES.

I am 37 and not to old.

learn to live not to worry about living

have fun, and whatever else you do keep civving

38 here,,,ill be playing til im 88.
Between this game and Lords of the Realm it the only thing i use this computer for except for surfin the web for vacation info for the wife when she gets hacked off at me plying til 2am.

23. I'm mostly worried my computer will give up, before I'll be ready to give up Civving. It's not so easy to find old enough hardware :(. I've already had to part with many of my all time favourite games

But CivII still works:D

I'm 35 and be playing CIV since I was 15, when I discovered it for myself. Let's say it clearly: There was no game ever, which sucked me up to the compy, more like this one.
I explored CIV I without any help, just by trial and error on the keyboard. With every function I unveiled I became more fascinated. I think it was on an Commodore C64. After a break in playing on the PC, I had to do some living and to tryout the Playstation stuff, I came back to Civilization, 1 year ago, and it's still great fun playing it. I have forgotten a lot of games that I played till yet, but there is one I will never forget.
Guess which one.

Hey I started the younger :)
I was 6 or 7 when I finished my first game, I remember covering the world with railroads :)

Now I'm 16.

By the way, father is 42 (I think) and he still plays civ3.

Old? OLD? Who's #*!@#^% old?
At 63 I'm just a senior member of the game playing race.
Just coz I have one dud leg, a stuffed back, one good eye, severe arthritis (fortunately not in my mouse 'trigger finger' hand) and bad angina, don't make me old. Just slow.
Oh yeah! I just voted. Us oldies is sneakin up on ya.
Red (the now slow) Rider

I still play even though I have a f***ed knee, stomach ulcer and due to a recent injury only one good eye. Heck and I'm only 22 what have I got to look forward to... possibly more civ2ing me thinks. ;P

Yup! When we can't see the screen, can't hold the mouse and don't want the Missus, then's the time to worry. Until then..
let's remain Civilized.

Score: Kings Quest 9, Civ3, Rambo ---
Movie re-make out using coloured actors. The hero now says "I'll be black!"
