America's flag is wrong!!!!

It looks like the Somali flag? What gives?!? It should look like today’s stars & strips...if they want Somalia in the Game that's fine but America should have it's original flag!!!

Japan gets it's original flag so why not America?

Obviously not all flags are the original. There are many examples to come by. Simplicity is better, IMO, and that's probably why they kept the Japanese flag that way.

It's just a symbol. I think they only kept the actual flag if it was simple, like the red dot on the Japanese flag and the cross of St George (That's what it's called, right?) on the English flag.

Having the proper flag would be cool, but I don't mind the one being used.

think i like the new flag better- always thought that stars and stripes and red white blue was just plain tacky. We should rip off Canada or this Civ flag.

I think the point is that America should not get the flag of Somalia!

The eagle would have been a good choice too, but I don't mind the star. I agree with SonicX that it should have been the 13 stars in a circle formation, but that might not show up well depending on the unit size.

Doesn't Germany get the eagle? I know that 50 stars and 13 stripes is way much to reproduce, but I'd like it to look a littlemore like the US flag.

Well, I'm modding it to 13 stars anyway, it's just a texture.

I'll download it if you release it. My only concern is that people might see it as the "Bonnie Blue Flag", and I think the Thirteen stars would just look coller anyways.

Although, I may get used to the built in one. We'll see.
