Since having puppets with Union Jacks really doesn't make much sense, I sought to replace the flags of Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, which I plan on using from now on. I'll also be using them should I go ahead with my plans to continue the story like I described.
How does everyone like them? And yes, each one does actually have some sort of real relation to its country.
Those aren't from the Germany game. I got them by starting a new 1936 campaign as the UK and letting them approach me to trade. If I did that in the Germany campaign I would have 40 countries trying to trade with me all at once. And it was a much easier way to test them out just to use a new game.
I considered using the Maple Leaf, but I considered it "too modern". I wanted something roughly historical, hence the Australian and New Zealand flags, which I found on Wiki and existed well before WWII. For the Canada flag, I just combined the Red Ensign and Maple Leaf, and I think it makes the flag look quite historical.
Since Armageddon is merely a booster to Doomsday, the saves translate quite nicely. Simply install Armageddon and you'll get the option to play either/or from then on because you should have the two separate icons. It might take a load in Armageddon to get it to recognize the savegames from Doomsday, but after a restart of Armageddon you should have all the saves there.
