Really, the joke is on us. How many users are going to use even a fraction of 100, 250 or 1000 MB?

Hotmail gives you 10 freakin' days before you lose all your contact and email, and just 1 month before freezing it and bouncing back all emails. Then they give you 3 months before they permanently delete your account. I mean...jesus...I'm not gonna log in every 10 days just to keep my contacts and email.
The account policies that govern your use of Hotmail are detailed in our Online Help. Please note that you must sign into your Hotmail account at least once every 30 days. If you do not, your account will become inactive. After being inactive for 90 days, it will be deleted. You may want to save this message so you always have a handy link to this important information.

1 month = 30 days
3 months = 90 days
And if they removed the 10 day "freeze," good for them, they needed to remove that.

It's what I remember from my old 2000-2001 days of using Hotmail. I'd not log in for a couple of weeks and come back to see a "Your account is frozen" message from Hotmail, as well as all my address book gone.Dell19 said:If there was a 10 day freeze then effectively no one using hotmail would be able to go on holiday and expect their account to be active when they come back...
