I can't get it to work! I've put it into the "mods" folder but it doesn't show up on the list of civilizations. I've looked at all kinds of different ways of making it work but all they do is conflict with each other and now I'm all confused. Could someone please help?
It still doesn't work... :_( I tried what you said but the .ini file didn't show up.
So then I tried your Copy_Civ1 file and put the Animal_Empire into the "custom civilizations" folder". Still doesn't work!!!!
*cries*
Yeah. That's about the sum of it. And Copy Civ goes into the Mods folder right?
That's the problem. I go to advanced, select Copy Civ, click OK, the game restarts but then when I go to Play Game, or any of the other civilization selections Animal Empire doesn't show up.
Yep. It's there. Still doesn't show up when I load the mod into the game.
Goes in here right? Program Files/2K Games/Fraxis/Civilization 4 Gold/Beyond the Sword/Mods
There was something interesting I noticed; When I checked "About This Build" it listed the mod as Beyond the Sword/Mods/Copy_Civ2/
Does that mean it isn't getting to the other files and folders in Copy_Civ2?
.... Okay
And all I have to do is boot the game up and load the mod? Then it should show up.
Yes. I did that beforehand to see if that would fix the problem, but to no avail. And the ways to fix this in "How to install new civs" don't work. AARRRGGGHHHH!!! It always happens to me!!!
