Anno Domini - a full mod from R8XFT

This looks incredible! Great work. As far as Cleo, I like the new one slightly better - they are both superb. I doubt that in BC they would have had snappy haircuts and the old is probably more realistic, but I do like them.

I've toyed with an idea about mod sizes. I had one I considered posting but grew discouraged. My idea was that since it was so huge then I'd post it on eBay. If you've got a CD burner, you could charge a nominal fee for the posting cost, CD media, postage, handling. I guessed that 3, 4, 5 bucks would cover it. Maybe you could try that

I really don't think so. I'm hoping that lots of people will download it; I don't want the hassle of burning CDs, posting them etc.
Thanks for the comments though. I guess the old style of Cleo is more realistic and the new one is a little better facially. I'm working on some new hair...

I've now updated Cleopatra further. The hair is closer to the original style, but with more texture.

Preferable? I'm not the biggest fan of the collar prop, so below is Cleopatra with the same new hair, but with different clothing:

What do you think?

Cleopatra, will you be my Valentine?

Hm... I Didn't see your posr about the clothing, cuz I stuuped? I Like the first set, but if its not good for working with, ditch it.

@Goldflash - you didn't see the different clothing at first as I updated that post after you posted your comment ;) .

As I've stated earlier in the thread, I'm veering towards dual-era leaderheads. One leaderhead set-up to cover the "ancient times" and the "age of empires" eras and one to cover the "dark ages" and "early medieval" eras. What you've seen of Cleopatra so far is her proposed set-up for the first two eras, but I'm not entirely sure which direction to take for her later eras look. I am sure about the background - I've found one I really like - but do you prefer 1, 2 or 3?

Personally, 3 is my favourite :) .

Well.. I like option two (its original), but you can't see her loverly hair, so I'd go eith option three. Perhaps give her some jewelry?

My Buddy Lloydicus says three as well.

Three's popular!

@Goldflash - it's a good suggestion about the jewellry. I've tried a couple of props out, but they didn't seem to fit. There isn't that much decent poser jewellry knocking about; certainly the ones I have seem to detract from the leaderhead rather than finishing it off  .

By the way, is everyone ok with the new hair?

I like it...though the old hair was great too.

The hair was a main part of my desicison to have Cleo be my Valentine.

I think the new hair makes her head look too small, like the bulb of her cranium is abnormally stunted. In the pic where her head is covered it looks fine, but for some reason the others give the illusion of a chunk taken out of the back of her skull or something. The original hair was kind of flat-black, sure, but I like the style better all in all, and it doesn't give me the impression that her head is malformed like the new one.

Also, the New Cleo's eyes are much dimmer and duller than the older version. I perfer her with that attractive sparkle in her eye.

All in all, despite the hair people complained about, I'd say I like the old version better: her lips are fuller, her nose is less "ridged" looking (which is kind of odd in the new version), and and as I mentioned before her eyes are brighter.

Sorry to nitpick, but I'm mildly disappointed with the changes you decided to make, and thought I should share my two bits.

Master Kodama, thanks for sharing your views with me. My own preference is with the newer head; IMHO it looks 10 times better than the first - but that's just my opinion. You're right about the sparkle in her eyes and I might look at that and I'll probably make her nose slightly less ridged as well. For now though, here's a preview of the two eras of Cleopatra:

I've decided to go with the collar prop after all in the ancient eras, as I feel it does look more Egyptian.

For now though, I'm putting the leaderheads to one side whilst I concentrate on re-engineering the tech tree and placing units/buildings/wonders into the game.

These are my thoughts, though I know than it's a bit more than what's needed for your mod:

Ancient Era: Cleo with the original hair (as it looks like a wig and Egyptian women wore wigs in those days). I like the collar too.

Middle Ages: Cleo with lovely new natural looking hair and dressed like in option 3 above.

Industrial Era: Cleo in the the headscarf as in option 2 above. I really like that option and while I realize that option 3 is more suitable I would love it if you made option 2 as well. I really like it.

Modern Era: Cleo with lovely natural hair again. Not sure about clothing.

But anyway, I will be immensely grateful for whatever we get. I love your work!

Thanks Xyth!!

However, I have decided that there will be only 2 leaderheads per civ, one to cover the first two eras (mainly BC), the other to cover the last two eras (fall of Rome/Dark ages/Medieval)

I've modified Cleopatra's face a little in line with Master Kodama's comments. In terms of the hair, well, there's slight modifications, but I'm loathe to go back to the original untextured style. I thought that maybe a longer style might suit the later era a little better. Let's see what you think:
