Anno Domini progress report

I think there are 3 Greek Civs, excluding Byzantium. I also think there are 3 British Civs.
The three Greek civs are Athens, Macedonia and Sparta; the three English civs are Brigantia, Cornwall and the Iceni. There's also Eire and the Picts.

Hang on...three "English" civs? Brigantia, Cornwall and the Iceni? That'll be Celtic, Celtic and Celtic plus Celtic (Eire) and Celtic (Picts)

Do I detect a hint of bias here?! :mischief:

Don't worry R8XFT, I'm looking forward to seeing this finished, with or without English Civs! :)

The Picts AREN´T Britonic Celts, they were Goidelic Celts, the Scots who came from Ireland were Britonic Celts.

Did I mention "Britonic" [sic] ;) Anyway it was just a joke about the "un-Englishness" of the three Civs R8XFT mentioned  If the three Civs had been Saxon, Angle and Jute I would have kept quiet....

Well, you didn´t mention "Britonic" but as Goidelic Celts are thought to be a completely different branch, they didn´t even speak the same language, look alike or have similar gods, they are considered only loosely Celts. The Goidelic Celts are the Bronze Age Celts, the Britonic Celts are Iron Age ones, much later also.
There are some historians who say that the Picts are completely unrelated to the Celts.

Hey guys, any one have an update as to when this bad boy will be released????

He doesnt want to set a release date because all of them have been wrong but my guess is ri b4 civ 4 is released. though a same day release would be kinda kool too.

I think R8XFT is pushing for a release in Late September right now. He said on September 7 that he was looking at maybe a delay of a "fortnight", which would be September 27. Here's to hoping he's right.

I'm pushing for a release around late September. Most of it's done now, but there's a few necessary finishing touches which will take a week or two.
@TLC : thanks for the offer of the Parthian regnal list, but I already have one :) .

Well, now that the Asian group is out of the picture, could you add Turks to the mod? When i asked this earlier, you were thinking of substituting Turks with Mongolians, but now there's nothing left there. :)

@Sword_of_Geddon : thanks for the offer; I can't think of anything though at the moment. Everything's nearly finished.
@Tunch Khan : sorry, but they won't be included; I've already got the replacements for the Asian civs and I haven't got time to recreate more stuff now. However, there's no reason why the Turks can't be present in a scenario - there will be some of these based on the Anno Domini ruleset after the main mod's been released.
@varwnos : the city graphics are all in place, which includes some of yours for the European cities.
