Great mod!!
Still I'll go ahead with some critics.
Why did you chose such less known and small civs as Minoa, Iceni or Brigantia instead of the Dacians for example?
And yeah, since where the Carolingian civilization instead of the germanic civ?
Why England is double represented with Cornwall which isn't a civilisation the Saxons?
Such a great work should be corrected with some historycal accuracy.
Thanks for the comments. There was a thread running here for a very long time in which the civs were discussed...and changed....and discussed again. I've done some quite generic-style leaderheads that can be changed to be other civs should you wish. Minos of Minoa could work very easily as a Dacian, for example. The mod has been designed in mind for you to change and tweak whatever you want without too much trouble. I have in mind an expansion pack which will contain even more leaderheads and units usable in more accurate scenarios.

I also have the same problem as Joel in post #26. I have civConquests that is updated with the latest patch. I don't have civ complete. Every mod that I have downloaded has worked. Can i get some help please?

Minoa? Small civ :dubious: ? They are one of the most important of all civilizations. They were actually the very first civilization in Europe. They built palaces and canalization systems at a time when the rest of Europe was still in the stone age.
The fact that there are rather many British civs might possible be in a certain connection with the fact that R8XFT is British ;) But well, it's his mod, he's put a tremendous lot of effort into it without seeing a single penny for it, so honestly, I don't mind if every second civ is British :)

I truthfully don't know how to help, though someone said that they'd got the mod to work by placing it in the CivIII/Conquests/Conquests folder instead of the recommended CivIII/Conquests/Scenarios folder.

well this is the problem Im having. I put it into CivIII/Conquests/Scenarios, didnt work. then CivIII/Conquests/Conquests and this is the error Im getting. I SO want to play this. but i cannot. insert crying here.

Another exceptional mod is here!!

Proving that there is still much interest for civ3. I really hope it gets the attention it deserves, not falling in the shadow of civ4.

The error some people are getting is weird. I truthfully don't know how to resolve it and why some people are getting it and others not getting it. The problem doesn't seem to be in an Anno Domini folder either, which is very strange. Can anyone help?

First off........This is one hel of an excellent job kudos to you and all who helped you bring this to fruition.
I have no idea why some people are having problems I have Civ3Complete and I have no problem running the mod. The place I put the Anno Domini folder and biq is F:\Program Files\Atari\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Scenarios. Of course this is for complete and I dont have it installed on the C drive that is for windows only ;).

Okay, the mod downloaded. I then downloaded the patch. I moved both files into the Conquests Scenarios folder, but it doesn't seem to work. I opened up the scenario editor, just to look at the map, and I didn't see the scenario anywhere. Does it even have a map? Or is it just a mod to be played on a random map? Regardless, I don't see any mod folder, just some icon that when I click on it, it displays a message saying it doesn't know what the file is and it can't find any program to run it in. Mods always appear in mod folders, that when I click on it, it opens up sub-folders such as Art the Units. What am I doing wrong? Or am I just over-complicating things and all I have to do is start a random map?

go to civ-content and selecting anno domini. there is no map, but there is a biq. that must be put in the scenario folder seperate to the other folder which it reads.

just downloaded. have civ3 conquest version 1.22 and have the same crash as post 26 about the marius reform.
could you tell me what to do?
i want to try this mod cause civ4 is rebooting on me :crazyeye: and i'm back with civ3:)

Hey joejoeisbest and other Civ III Complete users having problems: I got the same error message as jjib. I went back into Conquests/Scenarios, and it turns out that the Anno Domini folder was nested inside a folder called "Anno" that I think WinRAR created. To fix it, I simply moved "Anno Domini" into the Conquests/Scenarios, deleted the "Anno" folder and relaunched Civ III.

That is exactly what I said earlier!
