What's the difference between Saxons and Norse. I thought Saxons just is one of the Norse peoples. ie, roughly devided up between Norway, Saxons, (Denmark) Birka, (Sweden).

You thought wrong. The Saxons were not a Nordic people at all, but hail from nothern Germany. Some of them participated in the invasions of Britain (whence "Anglo-Saxon"), others stayed on the continent. They've given their name to no less than three German Länder (roughly comparable to US states) - Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, and Niedersachsen - , as well as various bits of southern England - Essex, Middlesex, Sussex, and Wessex.

With CivIV being a bit slow on my computer, I tried playing CivIII again last night for a while and I made the same mistake! It is so hilarious!

Concratulations to you and the Anno Domini group. I haven't downloaded it yet but the amount of effort and work it seems you guys have put in this mod is extraordinary.

I keep downloading this but the archive keeps showing as corrupt. It's different files which are corrupt (even on the same download) each I extract so I'm guessing that it's because my system can't handle a zip or rar file with so many files in it.

Could we get the mod broken into smaller chunks for download?

Still I'll go ahead with some critics.
Why did you chose such less known and small civs as Minoa, Iceni or Brigantia instead of the Dacians for example?
And yeah, since where the Carolingian civilization instead of the germanic civ?
Why England is double represented with Cornwall which isn't a civilisation the Saxons?
Such a great work should be corrected with some historycal accuracy.
