so how do you copy the patch files into the regular mod because I tried that and the game still crashed.

Just copy and overwrite the existing files. It can be that you need administrator rights to do so, depending on your Windows version and account type.
 
I did do that, I copied the new files from the patch into the folders and correct areas and deleted the old files, but it still wouldn't work!
 
Hi. With the new patch I can load savegames, thats good. But Im still getting these errormessages if I want to select a civ in a new game (look at screenshot).

PS: Do you get money for hosting your file on atomicgamer? If not, maybe you could add another link from another server? ^^ Because the waittime is very long and download very slow on atomic.

If you did it in that order you actually deleted the newly copied files. I recommend trying it again, I know it can be annoying but sometimes your OS simply decided to be annoying.

Rob said you need to have every DLC to play this mod, so you're gonna have to download the DLCs. :P

Tried the Mod, love the idea of it but theres prob some more fixing and tweaking left ;)

Also got that error msg that I didnt have the gfx for the wonders....had to download, Firaxis should pay you dividends for making us have all DLC:lol:

Game crashed when exploring, seems like I was about to encounter a civ, is "Han" still an issue:confused:
 
There is a possibility that a unit graphics issue would cause a crash. Have you tested this out by placing all units down with FireTuner and seeing if any cause a crash? Crashing when meeting a civ is an issue I've never encountered....
 
I've not had an issue with any units myself either. At what stage in the game was it?

I have started using the Japanese map option - quite like that map at the moment! Small games with four civs involved and plenty of room for each to expand...hmmm...might add the option for fifth civ and see what happens.
 
It was the first era on epic speed, king difficulty, small continents. large map 12/18 civ/cs
 
i downloaded the mod, installed it, selected it, started a new single player game through the mods menu but it seems as if the mod doesnt load and i am playing a vanilla game.
I can't select other civs besides the standard ones nor do i see any new techs.

Did you try this?
1. Delete any previous versions of the mod from C:\<username>\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
2. Download and copy file into C:\<username>\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
3. Delete your cache folder in C:\<username>\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache
4. Delete the contents of the ModUserData folder in C:\<username>\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\ModUserData
5. Verify your cache and defrag your CIV V files through Steam (right click, properties, local files, verify integrity.
6. Make sure your game is up to date with the December 2011 patch!
7. Load CIV V and click Install button in the ModBrowser.
 
Is somebody working on a new version? Because if you are playing longer here and there are some crashes.

I am that person, but am in the throws of moving house at the moment, so I don't have time to do much over the next couple of weeks. Please can you tell me about the crashes though so that I can start trouble-shooting.
 
I started a game as Volisios and played for ... dont know a lot of rounds. Then the AI killed me :) No crashed, everything was fine.

Then I started a new game, on the same map (Pangaea) with size (small) as Ati. And after some rounds are here and there the game crashed without any message. Do you need my Lua.log?

No, LUA.log will not be necessary to debug.

How about a few questions:

1. Do you have all the DLCs installed?

2. What map size were you playing on?

3. What were you doing when the game crashed?

Based on your description I would say a civilization is crashing your game, and you met them and it caused the crash. This could be for a number of reasons.

I think that is it! Because at a point I cannot continue the game because its always crashing and its happening when Im starting to explore the map. Ohm yeah I just have the babylon and mongol dlc so I dont have all civs. I tought I get an errormessage if I start a game with dlc civs that I dont have. Maybe that would be a better solution to get the crash at the start of the game ;)

For Anno Domini to work properly, you do need all the DLCs installed. It is possible/likely that this is what's causing the crashes. It's not as straight-forward as not selecting DLC civs; Brigantia, for example, uses hill forts available with the Denmark DLC.
 
Cool mod, just found it and enjoying the hard prospering. Not that easy to find a good mod, that is focusing on the earliest times. Playing on prince let's me still wonder how one could effort to earn money...will spend some more time calculating :D

Besides i got some error messages, probably the attached snapshots may be of use for you. Seems some wonders with the Denmark civ might be the problem. As in other rounds it worked quite well. Got some picture missmatches for flags and special buildings when choosing my culture.
