Just after my bomber destroys the last road into Paris, which is sure to send the French nation into chaos from which I will reduce it to rubble, the game crashes!

Reloading and trying different sequences is no help, the game crashes everytime I wipe out that last road. So to keep playing, I have to let Joan keep her last capitol lifeline. This to me is the equivalent of knocking over the board in a game of Risk when you're losing. I'm not buying the AI's "It was an accident" excuse.

Great, now you have a reason to ask for a refund.

According to the law you may return the game and get your money back if it doesn't work (which it appearantly doesn't).

But first, make sure you have a copy and dont forget to download the crack.

What a great answer.

"You now have a legal right to ask for a refund. But before you do, make sure you break the software piracy laws."

You can call it a bug, but I swear that the AI knew it was going down and saw crashing the program as it's only option.;)

Be sure you have AutoSave on. Then, even if it crashes, you can go back to it and see if it repeats; if so, BUG.

I agree, there are plenty of documented "Cheats" AKA AI Special advantages. It does not need to cheat this way. Has to be a bug, or a flaw somewhere. I had two games crash as a specific point on every reload, no matter how far back I reloaded -- prior to the patch.... both games worked fine after the patch.

Actually, the game designers want you to win... If youCANNNOT win, it is no game, and no one would ever buy another one. They just want to make it *HARD*. But Not quite Impossible.:)

Am I the only person who thinks that he's making a joke?

I never mentioned the word "legal".

And why wouldn't you break the software piracy laws when firaxis breaks the comsumer laws (not fixing the bugs before release)?

Forcing people to download hours of patches, is one way to make more money. Money I'd be happy to give them, but in that case I won't buy their game.

Now, officially i DID buy their game - if anyone asks.
