Bordeaux and Lyons put up valiant defences but were captured in the end after a fierce artillery and air bombardment. Paris is now under siege from 2 sides as Germany attempts to consolidate its control of France. German fleet in the Atlantic was withdrawn as per JG99's instructions but sank a U.S. destroyer first.

Took Davao from the US. Banged my head on Foochow. Destroyed Chinese roads and flanked their cities. Destroyed some Brit subs and a fleet off the Phillipines. Damn planes are worthless.

Gps to spartaca. Sank a german cruiser. Neutrals declare war on japan. Germany in return declares war on neutrals

Paris and Brest were captured. Amsterdam and Brussels were taken from the Neutrals who were foolish and declared war against us. Algiers was attacked and its army defender was killed. Mogadishu was also attacked but not taken. A few ships here and there in the Mediterranean were sunk.

It is just me, or are Chinese infantry extremely weak? I have 2/7/1 regular Chinese infantry units (which is more like a rifleman than infantry) and 4/8/1 communist infantry.
Now, I'm facing 8/11/1 Japanese Infantry where they have +2 hitpoints, meaning for draftees, they're 4/4... was it designed this way?

Sank some Brit ships off of Formosa. Sank a bunch of US destroyers off Midway. Captured Wake, Midway, Sarmi, and Panay -- no defenders. China staves off the Japanese infantry for another turn -- the pilots might be able to hit the broad side of a barn after another week of practice.

Captuered Tobruk this turn, destoryed some north african roads, blew up a panzer 3 outside mogadishu, and sunk a german transport outside Tunis. The BBC reports that in a speech to the House of Commons, the Prime Minister is quoted as saying "What General Weygand called the Battle of France is over. I expect that the Battle of Britain is about to begin."

Germany declares victory in Western Europe. The last French stragglers have been eradicated from the main continent. London was captured after a tough battle. More panzers were landed at London and they were able to capture the rest of the cities in England which were only lightly defended by garrison troops. Germany expects that Churchill and De Gaule will be suing for peace shortly. By the time the Yankees show up, it could be too late.
Istanbul, Samsun and Ankara were captured from the Neutrals.
