any game zones for Civnet?

I do so enjoy this game and simply want to know if there are any servers out there that host civnet games? Anyone run regular sessions from there com? If so what is the IP adress so i or others could drop in.
I read a past posting (about civnet) and it had an icq number but i don't know how to use that.
Lastly my civnet game says it is file version 1.0 Is that the latest? Is it upgradeable?
