Any rumors regarding a new patch?

Hi folks

Although the 1.09 patche fixes som issues, it doesn't really finish the job i think.

Does anyone have a clue if futher patches are in the oven? Os is firaxis satisfied with the product as it is? I like to keep my hopes up

I've heard they are working on one that fixes the memory problems among other things. No idea when it will be released though.

Firaxis have also appeared on some threads on this Site. They are paying a great deal of attention to all the feedback - the bad, the good, and the ugly. They'll fix it ...

So in short - yes.

Even after the 1.52 patch, the game is still having problems. I'll give the Civ 4 developing team a pat on the back for effort since the update went up from 1.09 to 1.52. However, you guys still have a long way to go.

I was really considering to buy after the second patch and I probably will but I'd be very dissappointed if I cannot play the game after two OFFICIAL patch releases.
