The Falklands count for SAm I think, so no need to found unhistorical Buenos Aires or Montevideo, despite the richness of the land there. See what I mean when I say "no colonies that we don't need" unless we can afford them?

Maybe it's too soon to ask, but do we have to avoid the conquerers events or are we going to aim for them?
Since the AI always is very late at arriving there, we have a good chance to get there first. I always do and only keep Mexico City, Chichen Itza (if possible), Qusqu, Arequipa and maybe Tucume. I always raze the rest. In my England games, that is.

I agree, decolonizationis quite silly, if we haven't already won the Domination Victory.

Conquerors are always a bonus, they can be shipped out to conquer India. Also taking Yax Mutal is within our historical bounds.

Got to Turin today. Kinda boring if you don't want to shop. But we did go up the stairs of the Florence bell tower (all 400 something steps in 20 minutes).
