Any way to have both .31 and .30k?

I'm in a succession game that's using .30k. I want to see it through, but I also want to play .31 which obviously will break save compatibility. Am I going to have to tough it out and wait till the SG is over before playing .31, or is there a workaround?

I'm pretty sure, not positive though, that when a new version is downloaded it goes to it's own new folder, whereas a patch just overwrites the old folder. So you would have both installed at the same time.

Edit-Yeah, that how it works just checked. Apparently I still have .25, .30, and .31 all separately installed.

That's reassuring, though I'd like to hear it from the mouth of Kael or someone else involved in the coding just to be completely sure.

Understandable, but it's less a matter of coding, and more of a matter of where you tell the GameFlood crap to download and extract the files ;)

Too much was changed, there's no way you'll be able to carry your game over. Definitely don't overwrite .30 files with .31. I don't know what will happen but I doubt it will even load.

If you have the HD space just let it install into it's new folder. I have 6 versions of FfH on my HD, but really could get rid of some...

Yeah they won't effect each other. 0.31 is its own mod and installs in a different directory than 0.30.
