Anyone else had difficulty coming here?

Seems like all week I haven't been able to access the forums. Maybe it's just me and my lousy 56K, but I was curious if anyone else had trouble or couldn't load the pages. It seems fine so far today...

I have slow dial-up, and its been OK for me.

I also have dial up, and have expirinced several problems. Sometimes I get that little red x on the buttons, I typed a reply yesterday and hit the post reply button then I got a message saying that no such site exsited, and on several times have gotten a server busy message from AOL then reloaded the page and CFC was fine. Hehe I just hit the button and AOL said it can't find the site. And again!

Edit:WOW I just saw a loy of red x's on this thread: All The buddy buttons had little red x's on them along with the post reply button. And some of the similies have a box with a dot in the middle

Seems a lot of DNS servers or maybe just one have been screwy all week.

I too have been having alot of problems the last few days. It looks like a DNS problem - I get a message that forums.civfantics.com cannot be found - , but it comes and goes.

edit: There are some mentions in this thread of using dial-up. I am on cable.

Last few days I've been getting the problem where it can't find parts of the forums. It comes and goes, lasts for about 10 minutes each time.

Yeah, I couldn't get this thing since that first post here until now. "Page not found" or "site doesn't exist" have been what I've been getting. Just wondering if it was only me.

I have had trouble accessing the site all week. I have a cable modem, maybe that has something to do with it.
