Just kidding. I preordered from amazon because they offered the preorder edition, whitch I don't think you'll can find in many places. Not in Walmart, I suppose. I haven't checked in gama stores, though.

Im just lookin over these forums trying to distract myself while I wait for EB games to call and tell me when I can pick it up. If I dont hear from them by 5 Im calling just to make sure I can pick it up tommorow that would really suck if I showed up at EB and they tell me it's not in yet 
I can't believe I'm so worried about a dang game! So, I call my credit card company because the online view doesn't show a gamestop charge....they charged my card on Friday....whew....I'm guessing I'll have it tomorrow as plannned.....LOL....non gamers much think we're all insane (or at least some of us).

A close look at the Fry's ad will see a disclaimer concerning availablity from the distributor...if the distributor ships late, Fry's can't deliver...
Amazon g'ed me and from what i heard has did it to a few others too! so i order it oct 6th and today i check it and it says 2 to 3 days shipping so i email them and ask why? they say its out of stock bla bla and i wont get it tell halloween then they got the balls to say if you want cancel it we understand. so in conclusion i went to gamestop and ordered it still the pre-order edition, and it says it will ship tomarrow and be here on Wed I even called gamestop to confer.. just lettin you know.. for the people who ordered from amazon go to gamestop quick cause the guy on the phone told me order ASAP i got mine in though ...sweeetttt....

3 Nov for Australia. Well that's for the capital cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, maybe Adelaide, Perth, and Hobart). If you live in Tibboburra, Woop Woop, or Bullamakanka, you'l be waiting A LOT LONGER.
Now I can fly to Los Angeles in 12 hours, clear customs in 1 hour, get to a shopping mall, get the game, get back to LAX for the 23:00 over nighter back to Sydney. Hhhhmmmmm, could be worth it. I could also bring a laptop and play the game on the flight back! Now that may be the clincher!

For reasons beyond comprehension BestBuy moved their metro store to right next to BestBuy (and both are thriving) so chances are one of them will have it...and if not, there are oodles of other retailers in the metro area (where I work) or on my way home.
I anticipate no problems getting the game, just as I never have any problems getting any other hot title!
If I get lucky and Super WalMart is selling the game at midnite (that's how I and many others got WoW at the first possible moment) I'll be sure to let y'all know!
